
Natalia Palshina is a freelance choreographer and dancer whose artistic focus lies in multimedia performance and site-specific formats.
She graduated with honors from Vienna State Opera ballet academy and has been dancing for over 20 years in different projects, festivals and theatres like Vienna States Opera, Staatsbalett Berlin, West Australian Ballet, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz , Theater Regensburg, FLUSSO dance project, Zero Dance Gallery as well as a guest dancer in numerous productions at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, since then.
Today her rich stage experience and divers repertoire – from classical and modern ballet to dance theatre and improvisation – help her to create unique multimedia performances and solo works by crossing genres.
Since 2017, she has been living and working in Berlin. Her choreographic works include, among others GlassLab (2020/21), Wachet auf (2021), State of Security (2023), Tangenti (2020), Space Relations – Kraftort (2023), STUDIOTRONIKA LIVE (2025), Son (2025), and Dancing Poetry (2018). In 2024, she was involved as a dancer and co-choreographer in ReFramed (Framed Festival Berlin).
In 2023, she received funding through NEUSTART KULTUR – DIS-TANZEN, a program of the German Dance Association, which enabled her to further develop her artistic research in the field of site-specific and interdisciplinary performance formats.
Her dance outreach projects for refugee youth are regularly supported by programs such as Chance Tanz, Aktion Mensch, and VHS.
